Recap: Season 2021
SV Wiesbaden Hawks reached the finals of European Cricket Series Frankfurt but were unfortunately not able to win the tournament despite being in the toughest group and being unbeaten in the group stages.
An overall good cricket season for the club as we managed to reach the Semi Final’s of Hessen and then Final’s of the ECS.
The quality of the cricket played this year has been exceptional with different team players stepping up at the right time and taking the responsibility. In the ECS itself, it was Khalid and Nasarullah against FCA Darmstadt United Stars with their brilliant batting and in the Semi Final, it was brilliant all-round performance from Fayyaz who single handedly took the match away from the opposition.
We would also like to congratulate SG Hainhausen on winning the ECS tournament.
There is always room for improvement and we will be focusing on coming even stronger next year. As a unit, we are proud of the each player the way they performed individually this year and the way we performed as a team.
